→ SUITTA, 2022

SUITTA is a wearable device that accompanies and protects children during dynamic and contact recreational activities in nursery schools. The goal of SUITTA is to provide a layer of protection to the child during playtime, while maintaining a playful function that allows the child not to feel constrained in a protective system.

The elements that make up SUITTA are the jumpsuit, the shapes, and the sausages. The jumpsuit is the heart of SUITTA and is equipped with internal patches that make it resistent to impacts and abrasions; the jumpsuit’s shape is designed to make it easy to wear and adaptable to different physical types. Thanks to the velcro attachments, it is possible to customize the jumpsuit with shapes and padded forms, creating different combinations of colors and shapes.

The shapes, available in three different forms and four colors, have the function of personalizing the jumpsuit. The padded forms, on the other hand, are modular and available in different lengths and colors, offering an additional opportunity for customization and interaction with the jumpsuit.

SUITTA has an intuitive design so that the child can easily understand how the velcro attachment system works and can play independently or guided by a teacher.

Group project with: Alberto Bonazzi, Giacomo Ghelfi.
