→ Soft Pad Pavillion, 2023

This real-time rendering project was conceived with the primary goal of delivering a compelling visual experience, placing the spotlight on the iconic Soft Pad EA 217 chair designed by the Eames. The scene was modelled using Creo PTC, the scene takes inspiration from some architectures of both Foster + Partners and SANAA.

To enhance the visual impact, the pavilion is strategically divided into three distinct sections, each thoughtfully designed to center attention on the elegance of the Soft Pad EA 217. This intentional segmentation not only serves as a showcase for the chair but also contributes to the overall aesthetic balance of the scene.

In the pursuit of seamless real-time rendering, the scene underwent meticulous optimization. Dynamic elements were introduced, such as the rotation of the pavilion, adding a layer of interactivity to the viewer’s experience. In addition to this, dynamic lighting animations were integrated, playing a pivotal role in accentuating the chair’s form and creating a captivating interplay of light and shadow.

The result is an immersive visual journey, where the timeless design of the Soft Pad EA 217 harmoniously intersects with contemporary architectural influences.
